Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our Self-Perform Construction team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working on industrial or commercial electrical projects and be comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment. This role will involve electrical installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and ensuring all work meets safety and applicable electrical codes and standards.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician in industrial or commercial construction environments.
- Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements.
- Experience sizing conductors and conduits.
- Hands-on experience with electrical systems up to 480 VAC.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical prints, schematics, and drawings.
- Experience with electrical testing and commissioning.
- Strong understanding of electrical job-site safety and hazard assessment.
- Ability to complete pre-work/task planning focused on electrical hazards and safety procedures.
- Ability to work at heights of up to 80 feet.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
