About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President for Fund Reporting to join their Financial Reporting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership to a team that delivers financial statements for various clients and funds, ensuring compliance with accounting and regulatory standards, and driving the performance and execution of team priorities. This role involves overseeing the end-to-end production process, delivering management information on team performance, and partnering with internal and external parties to support seamless delivery and continuous service improvement. The Vice President will also be expected to drive continuous improvement in financial reporting processes, including the adoption of AI and automation tools, and to attract, develop, and retain talent within the team. Applicants for the Vice President, Fund Reporting position at the company should have a proven track record in managing small to medium-sized professional teams, with a preference for experience within a fund administrator, asset manager, asset servicer, or a Big Four firm supporting investment industry clients. Deep knowledge of accounting and financial reporting requirements, particularly U.S. GAAP, Regulation S-X, and the regulatory considerations for various fund types, is essential. The role requires strong organizational and execution skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a high-pressure environment. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a professional accounting designation such as CPA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA being strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will also have a background in driving process improvements and be adept at using AI and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
