The Company is in search of a Chief of Fleet to lead its Fleet Management Division through a significant phase of modernization. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the strategic vision, policies, and performance expectations for the city's fleet operation, which is essential to public safety, works, and community services. This executive role demands a leader with a strong background in fleet operations, asset lifecycle management, and a proven track record in managing large, multidisciplinary teams. The Chief of Fleet will be at the forefront of advancing sustainability and zero-emission initiatives, driving innovation in fleet technology, and ensuring the division's compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards. Applicants for the Chief of Fleet position at the company should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 10 years' experience, including at least 4 years in a supervisory role. The ideal candidate will have a data-driven approach to performance, planning, and continuous improvement, as well as strong communication and relationship-building skills. Experience in sustainability, EV technology, and fleet electrification is highly valued.
