BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CNP / PMHNP
Southwestern Minnesota
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | $99,939–$149,909/year
A growing outpatient and specialty clinic in Southwestern Minnesota is seeking a Behavioral Health CNP / Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide compassionate, high-quality mental health care.
This position offers the opportunity to provide both outpatient and urgent mental health services, including an integrated role within a Walk-In Mental Health Clinic while maintaining an outpatient schedule.
Compensation
$99,939–$149,909/year
Compensation will reflect applicable experience.
Position Responsibilities
- Perform psychiatric diagnostic assessments
- Evaluate medication needs and provide medication management
- Conduct urgent mental health assessments for individuals experiencing a crisis
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Coordinate patient care from intake through discharge
- Develop and manage Plans of Care focused on patient and family health and wellness
- Provide patient and family education
- Stay current with clinical knowledge and evidence-based best practices
- Collaborate with Marketing and Business Development to promote behavioral health services within the medical community
- Maintain compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Support a patient-centered environment and uphold professional standards of integrity, teamwork, stewardship, courage, and excellence
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing
- Active Minnesota APRN license
- Current PMHNP certification or equivalent
- Must meet Minnesota Mental Health Professional qualifications
- 1+ year of post-master’s or post-doctorate experience strongly preferred
- Pediatric and adolescent experience preferred
- Strong communication and clinical judgment skills
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- Primarily daytime hours
- Occasional evening/weekend commitments for service promotion
