Line Cook

Los Angeles Icon, Cole’s, is starting a new chapter under new ownership, and we’re looking for solid Line Cooks to join the kitchen. The job is to protect what makes Cole’s a classic while raising the bar on consistency, quality, and team culture. Creative input is welcomed.

What you’ll do

• Work your station during service with speed, accuracy, and consistency
• Hold every plate to Cole’s standards, from the dips and au jus to the sides and specials
• Prep ingredients and keep your station stocked, organized, and ready for service
• Follow recipes, portioning, and plating standards
• Keep your station clean and sanitized, and follow health code and food safety practices
• Communicate with the Sous Chef, Chef, and front of house to keep tickets moving
• Help with deliveries, rotation, and closing duties

What we’re looking for

• 1+ year of line cook experience in a high-volume kitchen
• Strong knife skills and comfort on grill, flat-top, fryer, and sauté
• Experience with roast beef, pastrami, and braising is a plus
• Pastry experience is a plus
• Able to stay calm, focused, and clean during a rush
• A team player who takes direction well and wants to grow
• Current California Food Handler card required
• Available for nights, weekends, and holidays
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
