Basic skills / qualifications
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, circuits, and electrical codes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical plans
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical problems
- Installation and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems
- Experience with conduit, panels, breakers, switches, outlets, and fixtures
- Ability to use electrical testing equipment safely
- Knowledge of OSHA and job-site safety requirements
- Ability to lead and direct electricians and apprentices
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to work safely at heights and in various job-site conditions
- Valid driver's license, if required
