Job Location: Tyler, TX

Pay Rates

1st Shift: $18.50/hour
2nd Shift: $20.50/hour

Remedy Staffing is currently hiring MIG Welders for a growing fabrication facility in Tyler, TX. We are seeking reliable team members with welding experience who take pride in producing high-quality work while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Shift Schedules1st Shift
  • Monday - Thursday: 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Friday: 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Saturday: 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM (as needed)
2nd Shift
  • Monday - Thursday: 3:15 PM - 1:45 AM
  • Friday: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM (as needed)
Job Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG welding on steel components according to production schedules and quality standards
  • Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, work orders, and fabrication drawings
  • Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
  • Produce parts that meet dimensional and quality specifications
  • Inspect welds and finished products for accuracy and defects
  • Perform visual inspections and identify areas needing repair or rework
  • Use measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, and gauges to verify specifications
  • Grind, clean, and prepare metal surfaces before and after welding
  • Maintain production goals while ensuring quality workmanship
  • Complete production, quality, and safety documentation accurately
  • Report equipment malfunctions, material shortages, and safety concerns to supervisors
  • Assist with material handling and movement of fabricated products throughout the facility

 

 


Qualifications

  • Previous MIG welding experience required
  • Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings
  • Experience using measuring tools and inspection equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
