Emilia is a neighborhood Italian restaurant in Philadelphia that celebrates seasonality, light and bright flavors, and wood-fire grilling. The newest restaurant by Chef Greg Vernick, Emilia brings a thoughtful and welcoming approach to Italian dining, with a menu rooted in quality ingredients, handmade pastas, vibrant dishes, and a beverage program inspired by the ease and enjoyment of Italian hospitality.

What You’ll Do:

We are looking for cooks who are passionate about hospitality, driven to refine their craft, and eager to work in a supportive, high-energy environment where excellence is the standard. The ideal candidate brings strong cooking foundations, with a desire to grow and be part of a team. 

  • Execute dishes with consistency, precision, and attention to detail
  • Work closely with our chef team to prepare mise en place and maintain an organized station
  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety
  • Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth, efficient service
  • Maintain a positive, professional attitude in a fast-paced kitchen

What We’re Looking For:

  • Prior professional kitchen experience preferred, but we welcome ambitious, motivated candidates ready to learn. 
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Team-oriented mindset and a commitment to excellence
