Helion is hiring and we are looking to add a highly motivated MIG Welder to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment .
ResponsibilitiesPerform production MIG welding using .052 wire
Weld at 27–30 amps with wire speeds around 400–500
Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
Weld structural steel components including:
- Joists
- Ibeams
- Webbing
- Connection plates
- Stiffeners
- Supporting brackets
Weld parts that have already been fit-up and prepared
Maintain quality welds while meeting production goals
Work effectively with a crew in a team-oriented environment
- Previous MIG welding experience in a production or structural steel environment
- Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
- Pass 1G and 2G Unlimited Weld Test
- Fast-paced manufacturing setting
- Standing, lifting, and working around heavy steel throughout the shift
