About the Role

The Company is seeking an Assistant Executive Director with a current and valid state Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA/NHA) license to join their team. The successful candidate will support the Executive Director in the overall leadership and daily operations of the skilled nursing facility, ensuring regulatory compliance, strong financial performance, and high-quality resident care. This role is pivotal in census development, staff leadership, and maintaining a safe, efficient, and resident-centered environment. The Assistant Executive Director will be responsible for operational leadership, facility oversight, financial and census management, resident services, and program oversight, as well as community relations and external partnerships. Applicants must have a minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a long-term care setting, a strong knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations, and a BS/BA degree in healthcare administration or a related field is preferred. Essential functions include assuring facility compliance with all regulations, maintaining survey readiness, overseeing departmental operations, and supporting the Executive Director in budget preparation and financial management. The role also involves representing the facility in external dealings, maintaining a quality assurance program, and participating in ongoing quality improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to effectively direct and delegate tasks.
