The Electrician's Assistant will primarily support new multifamily residential electrical projects, working closely within small teams of 1 to 3 members. This role involves assisting trained electricians with basic electrical tasks while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. The assistant is expected to complete assigned duties with a degree of independence, reporting progress through regular check-ins. Work is mostly stationary and does not typically require travel.
Responsibilities
- Assist electricians on residential projects with various tasks
- Perform basic electrical work under supervision
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Support team members with materials and tools
- Follow safety procedures to ensure a hazard-free environment
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in electrical work
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Strong understanding of safety procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a small team
- Good problem-solving skills
- Effective time management abilities
