About the Role:
Join the passionate team at DIAMOND DOG HOUSE LLC as a Dog Attendant, where your love for pets meets a rewarding career! In this role, you'll provide exceptional care and attention to our furry guests, ensuring they feel safe and happy while away from home.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime and activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for all pets.
- Feed, groom, and administer medication to dogs as needed.
- Monitor the health and behavior of dogs and report any concerns.
- Assist with check-ins and check-outs of pets and their owners.
- Provide excellent customer service to pet owners and address inquiries.
- Participate in training and enrichment activities for dogs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive experience for all pets.
Requirements:
- Passion for animals and prior experience in pet care preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments.
- Basic knowledge of dog behavior and health is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Physical ability to lift and move dogs as necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification in pet first aid and CPR is a bonus.
