We are currently seeking an Electrical Superintendent! You will strive to provide safe electrical systems for a variety of customers.
Responsibilities:
Field Leadership & Crew Management
- Supervise and support multiple crews across active job sites
- Plan daily and weekly manpower needs based on project schedules
- Mentor and develop journeymen and apprentices
- Conduct daily jobsite walkthroughs to ensure quality and progress
- Resolve field issues quickly and effectively
Project Coordination
- Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure accurate installation
- Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and inspectors
- Schedule and oversee inspections, testing, and commissioning
- Track project milestones and communicate progress to the Project Manager
- Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available when needed
Quality & Safety
- Enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety audits
- Ensure all installations meet NEC, local codes, and project specifications
- Identify and correct deficiencies proactively
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain daily reports, manpower logs, and progress updates
- Document change conditions and communicate them promptly
- Assist with as‐built drawings and closeout documentation
- Track material usage and minimize waste
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of electrical field experience, including leadership roles
- Strong understanding of NEC, local codes, and commercial/industrial installations
- Proven ability to manage multiple crews and complex job sites
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, one-lines, and specifications
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem‐solving skills
- Valid driver’s license; OSHA 30 preferred
