Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 12 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Telemetry Unit experience.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Health Trust Program - Christus Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Health Trust Program - Christus Health.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: 1 year of related nursing specialty experience preferred.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 90 days must be explained. You may not concurrently work any other position or assignment while on contract at this facility. Candidates submitted must be fully available and committed to this single assignment. Travel pairs will not be considered.

Unit Details: Telemetry patients include MI, CHF, arrhythmias, PVD, and some med surg overflow. Unit manages cardiac drips but does not titrate them.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Every other weekend. No call.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
