Ernesto’s is a Basque-inspired restaurant on the Lower East Side, focused on bold, seasonal cooking and high standards in a fast-paced, team-driven kitchen. Chef Ryan Bartlow is the owner and chef with a deep passion for our craft. We’re looking for passionate, hardworking candidates with sous chef experience who care about craft, consistency, and creating great food in a supportive environment.We are currently looking for a passionate Sous Chef to join our team. The sous position is very involved in all day to day kitchen tasks. It will include coordinating daily with the chef and the cooks, Learning every station, working a station to cover days, also expediting service. We have a great team and it's a wonderful opportunity to learn from Chef Ryan Bartlow about the deep culture and cuisine of Spain.
