About the Role:

As a Welder in the manufacturing industry, you will play a critical role in fabricating and assembling metal components that meet precise specifications and quality standards. Your expertise will ensure the structural integrity and durability of products by applying welding techniques in MIG. Ultimately, your craftsmanship and attention to detail will directly impact the reliability and performance of the final manufactured goods. This position is temporary for 90 days, with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in MIG welding techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of welding safety standards and best practices.
  • Ability to work with specialized metals.
  • Previous experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements and ensure accuracy, preferred. 
  • Conduct metal fabrication tasks such as cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts prior to welding.
  • Inspect welded joints for quality and compliance with industry standards, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition and report any malfunctions.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills:

The required welding skills in MIG welding are essential for performing precise and durable welds on various metals, including stainless steel. Reading blueprints and technical drawings daily enables you to understand project specifications and execute tasks accurately. Metal fabrication and brazing skills complement welding by allowing you to prepare and join metal components effectively. Together, these skills ensure that you can contribute to high-quality manufacturing outputs while maintaining safety and efficiency on the production floor.


Monday through Friday, 6:00 am -2:30 pm.
