We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician / Job Runner to lead commercial projects, manage crews, and ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and up to code.
This is a leadership role for someone who can run work independently, communicate with project managers, and keep projects on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Run and manage commercial electrical projects from start to finish
- Supervise and lead field crews
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specs
- Coordinate materials, manpower, and schedules
- Ensure all work meets NEC and local code requirements
- Maintain job site safety and quality control
- Communicate with office staff, GC’s, and inspectors
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the field
Qualifications
- Texas Journeyman Electrician License (Required)
- 5+ years of commercial electrical experience
- Proven experience running jobs and leading crews
- Strong knowledge of NEC and commercial installations
- Ability to read plans and layout work
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Machine operator is a plus
