About the Role

We're a growing construction and property services company looking for a skilled Electrician with an active Connecticut E-2 license. This is a hands-on field role working across residential and light commercial job sites — new construction, and renovations. You'll work alongside a small, experienced crew and report directly to the project lead.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical installations, service, and troubleshooting in accordance with the CT State Building Code and NEC
  • Read and work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, and shop drawings
  • Coordinate with other trades on active job sites (framing, plumbing, sheetrock crews)
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently and safely
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and code compliance
  • Ensure all work passes required inspections
  • Keep job sites clean, organized, and safety-compliant

Requirements

  • Active Connecticut E-2 Electrician license required
  • Working knowledge of NEC and CT State Building Code
  • Comfortable reading blueprints and shop drawings
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Nice to Have

  • Experience with residential new construction and renovation projects
  • Familiarity with job costing / tracking time and materials by project
  • Comfortable working alongside general contracting crews (framing, sheetrock, painting)
