About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Construction with a focus on drywall to provide executive leadership for its commercial construction operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves driving the overall construction operations and financial performance, including P&L, operations, estimating, preconstruction, project delivery, and safety leadership. The VP will also be tasked with overseeing daily operations, establishing KPIs, and fostering a culture of safety, productivity, and strong customer relationships. Applicants for the Vice President of Construction position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a related discipline. A minimum of 5 years' progressive commercial construction leadership experience, particularly with multi-project oversight and P&L responsibility, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating, preconstruction, project operations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial management, as well as a proven track record in leading safety initiatives and high-performing teams. Proficiency in construction management and financial reporting systems is essential, and preferred certifications include OSHA 30, CCM, PE, LEED/AP, or similar credentials. Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and negotiation skills are also a must for this role.
