Server – Terre | Pasta & Natural Wine (Park Slope, Brooklyn)
Terre is a neighborhood Italian restaurant on 5th Avenue in Park Slope, known for handmade pasta and a list of 100+ natural wines, all poured by the glass, with a deep selection of skin-contact and orange wines. We’re open for dinner only. We’re looking for a warm, knowledgeable server who enjoys talking with guests about food and wine.
What you’ll do
- Run a section in our dining room and at our counter seating
- Guide guests through the wine list and our tasting-style by-the-glass service, and recommend pairings
- Present the menu and nightly specials, which are shared out loud, not printed
- Work closely with the kitchen and floor team to keep service smooth on busy nights
What we’re looking for
- At least 1 year of full-service serving experience
- Real interest in natural wine. We’ll teach you the list, but curiosity matters.
- Comfortable recommending and selling wine by the glass and bottle
- Available evenings, including weekends
- Reliable, team-first, and calm under pressure
