Call Details: Call Type: Beeper(pager) Average Call Volume (per 24 hours): TBD Call Response time : Within 20 minutes Average Patients Seen (on-site): TBD Call Coverage: Includes phone consults and respond to calls from other physicians, ER, and outside hospitals Position Overview: A healthcare organization in Seattle, WA is seeking a qualified locum tenens nephrologist to provide specialized transplant nephrology coverage. The role focuses on inpatient call for post-kidney transplant patients, dialysis management, and nephrology consultations for liver transplant patients. The provider will also respond to phone consultations from other physicians, emergency departments, and outside hospitals regarding immunosuppression management.

Key Responsibilities: Provide inpatient transplant nephrology coverage for 7 days, Monday 8:00 AM Monday 8:00 AM. Consult on post-kidney transplant patients, write dialysis orders, and manage kidney-specific needs. Provide nephrology consultation for liver transplant patients as needed. Respond to phone calls from other physicians, ERs, and outside hospitals regarding immunosuppression and transplant-related issues. Preferred Skills: Management of dialysis patients Management of post-renal transplants Renal Biopsy Hemodialysis catheter placement Peritoneal dialysis Additional Notes: Clinic coverage is required for providers trained in transplant nephrology; otherwise, focus is on inpatient call coverage. Supervision of APPs, NPs, and PAs is not required. Rates:

24 Hour On Call: $1500/day

Regular Hours: $240/hour

Night call: $255/night

Call- Back: $260/hour
