Position Summary

We are seeking a polished, professional, and high-energy Event Sales & Marketing Manager for a confidential luxury restaurant venue in the Miami market.

This hybrid leadership role combines active event sales, hands-on event coordination, community engagement, and local store marketing. The ideal candidate possesses strong business acumen, a proven ability to convert leads into repeat revenue, and an established network in the local market to elevate the venue's presence.

Key Responsibilities

Event Sales & Client Management

  • Drive outbound sales initiatives to generate new private dining leads and build lasting corporate partnerships.

  • Oversee the end-to-end event sales lifecycle: manage inquiries, conduct site walkthroughs, draft proposals/contracts, and negotiate terms within company guidelines.

  • Produce Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and lead weekly BEO meetings with FOH/BOH teams to ensure seamless execution.

  • Build long-term client relationships to encourage repeat bookings and client referrals.

Event Planning & Onsite Execution

  • Plan all logistical elements including custom menus, beverage pairings, floor plans, and AV requirements.

  • Serve as the primary onsite contact for private events, leading setup, execution, and breakdown in coordination with management and event captains.

  • Maintain a calm, solution-oriented presence to handle real-time challenges, client requests, and post-event guest feedback.

Local Store Marketing & Community Engagement

  • Drive local marketing initiatives that boost venue visibility, traffic, and community affinity in the Miami market.

  • Establish and nurture strategic local partnerships with luxury hotels, neighborhood businesses, cultural institutions, and corporate entities.

  • Represent the venue at high-profile community events, networking opportunities, and industry functions.

  • Serve as the primary local liaison to corporate marketing, PR, and social media teams, sharing market insights and local storytelling opportunities.

Administrative & Financial Accountability

  • Maintain clean, organized records using event management systems (Tripleseat) and reservation platforms.

  • Review private event sales metrics with leadership to identify revenue growth opportunities and meet departmental budgets.

  • Follow all corporate SOPs, sanitation guidelines, and administrative policies.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of private event sales, marketing, or catering leadership within hospitality or fine dining.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tripleseat (or similar event software) required; familiarity with reservation systems (e.g., SevenRooms), POS (e.g., Micros), and InDesign is a plus.

  • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the local market dynamic with existing community and corporate connections.

  • Operational Insight: Strong grasp of both FOH and BOH restaurant operations.

  • Communication & Style: Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills; highly organized with immaculate attention to detail.

  • Schedule & Physical Requirements: Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by the event calendar; ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation package with sales incentive opportunities.

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.

  • Fast-track career growth and multi-market promotion potential.

  • Generous dining discounts across group portfolio concepts.
