About this position
Senior Director, Strategic Finance | Renewable Energy
Location: Miami, FL (hybrid)
Arco is partnered with a private equity-backed renewable energy platform with a multi-GW operating portfolio across the US. The business is entering its next phase of growth, with an active acquisition strategy and continued investment in the finance infrastructure required to support a larger and increasingly complex organization.
The company operates with a lean, entrepreneurial culture and is looking for a senior finance professional who combines the technical depth of corporate FP&A with the judgment and versatility to tackle broader strategic finance priorities.
About the role
This is a high-visibility role within the corporate finance team, with significant exposure to senior leadership and a broad mandate across FP&A and strategic finance.
The mandate extends beyond a traditional FP&A position. The Senior Director will have visibility across the consolidated business, take ownership of core planning and reporting activities, and lead strategic projects spanning financial analysis, systems, processes, and cross-functional initiatives.
The role suits someone who has seen the full corporate finance picture, understands how multiple businesses and entities come together at the consolidated level, and is equally comfortable presenting to senior leadership or getting into the detail of a financial model.

- Support the continued development and implementation of finance systems and tools
- Prepare executive-level financial analysis and presentations
- Create structure around complex or ambiguous problems and drive projects through execution
- Support and develop the broader finance team as the function continues to grow
Skills and experience
- Significant experience across corporate FP&A, strategic finance, or a combination of both
- Strong understanding of consolidated financial planning and how P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow interact
- Experience operating across complex, multi-entity or multi-business organizations
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and executive reporting
- Track record of improving finance processes, systems, reporting, or planning infrastructure
- Strong executive communication and cross-functional leadership skills
- Comfortable operating in a lean environment where processes are still evolving
- Energy, power, infrastructure, or other asset-intensive sector experience is advantageous but not required
- Experience supporting a rapidly scaling, PE-backed, or acquisitive business would be particularly relevant
