About the Role

The Company is seeking an AVP, Software Engineering Leader for Corporate Functions IT. This critical leadership role is responsible for the technology platforms that support various corporate functions, including enterprise risk, legal, human resources, and shared services. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner to executive leaders, overseeing a large organization and vendor resources, and will be expected to lead large-scale technology transformation initiatives, particularly in the areas of cloud adoption and modernization of the technology portfolio. Key responsibilities include engineering strategy, technology modernization, ensuring the stability and performance of business applications, and championing innovation with emerging technologies. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree preferred, and at least 15 years of technology leadership experience, including a minimum of 5 years managing software engineering teams. The role requires a proven track record in leading technology transformations, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence and partner with senior business leaders. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software engineering, agile delivery, and the full software development lifecycle, as well as experience with GenAI and emerging technologies. Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills are essential, as is the ability to foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and engineering excellence.
