About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President, Information Technology to serve as its most senior technology leader and a pivotal member of the executive team. The successful candidate will be a visionary technology executive with a proven track record of aligning technology strategy with business growth, operational excellence, and competitive advantage. This role is responsible for developing and executing the strategic technology vision, leading enterprise-wide technology initiatives, driving innovation, and ensuring that technology investments deliver measurable business value. The SVP, IT will also be tasked with modernizing systems and infrastructure, strengthening cybersecurity, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for an advanced degree, and at least 15 years of progressive leadership experience in IT, including 7 years in senior management or executive leadership. The role requires a leader with strong business acumen, the ability to influence executive stakeholders, and experience in managing complex technology organizations, budgets, and strategic initiatives. Key responsibilities include strategic technology leadership, enterprise technology and digital transformation, IT operations, security, and governance, as well as people leadership and talent development. The ideal candidate will also have professional certifications and a background in the property/casualty insurance industry or a related sector.
