The Electrical Superintendent will oversee medium-sized project teams (6-15 members) primarily working on industrial, airport, and package handling projects. This role demands strong leadership to coordinate project activities, ensure safety compliance, allocate resources efficiently, and maintain high-quality standards. The superintendent will report to both the Project Manager and Operations Director, requiring frequent travel between sites to monitor progress and address challenges.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate project activities and schedules to ensure timely completion
- Supervise and motivate project team members
- Manage and enforce safety protocols on-site
- Allocate resources effectively to meet project demands
- Maintain quality control standards throughout the project lifecycle
- Monitor and control project budgets
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders and management
- Identify and resolve project-related problems promptly
- Prepare and submit detailed project reports
Preferred Qualifications
- 0-2+ years experience as an electrical superintendent
- OSHA Safety Certification
- Knowledge of electrical systems and project management
- Demonstrated team leadership abilities
- Understanding of safety protocols and budget management
- Experience with quality assurance processes
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
