About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Operations to spearhead the scaling and leadership of its tradeshow manufacturing and operations functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, overseeing project management and production, and optimizing processes to meet growth and profitability objectives. This role demands a strategic leader with a hands-on approach, deep manufacturing experience, and a proven track record in project management. Key responsibilities include developing and executing operational strategies, managing manufacturing operations, directing project management activities, and overseeing budgeting, cost control, and forecasting for operations. Applicants for the Vice President of Operations position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, business, or a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years' progressive operations experience, particularly in a manufacturing leadership role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, capacity planning, scheduling, purchasing, and supply chain management, as well as a demonstrated ability to own P&L, budgeting, cost control, and financial forecasting. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential, as is a data-driven mindset with experience in implementing KPIs, dashboards, and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma. The role also involves building and mentoring high-performing teams, so experience in team development and change management is a must.
