About the Role

The Company is in search of a Head of FP&A to spearhead the establishment of a top-tier financial planning and analysis function. This pivotal role involves owning the entire budgeting process, maintaining a rolling forecast, and leading scenario planning and sensitivity analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the monthly management reporting package, building and maintaining a KPI dashboard, and developing financial models to support various business initiatives. A key aspect of the role is to act as a strategic finance partner, rather than a back-office reporting function, and to lead the evaluation and implementation of a cloud-based FP&A planning tool. The Head of FP&A will also be tasked with hiring and developing an FP&A analyst team and ensuring consistent global reporting standards in coordination with regional finance leads. Applicants for the Head of FP&A position at the company should have a minimum of ten years' progressive FP&A experience, with at least three years in a senior FP&A leadership role within a company generating over $200M in revenue. A background in manufacturing, specialty chemicals, materials, or industrial products is essential, as is experience in a private equity-backed environment. The role requires advanced financial modeling skills, proficiency in cloud FP&A planning platforms, and a strong command of GAAP. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, a commercial instinct, and the ability to influence without direct authority. A bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with an MBA, CFA, or CPA being a significant advantage.
