*Duties and Responsibilities:*

Urban Youth Kings & Queens offers youth Baseball and Softball in the Germantown section of Philadelphia for children ages 4 - 15 as the “Germantown Warriors”. Our Warriors programs participate in various leagues/tournaments throughout the year to provide our participants and adequate experience both on and off the field, while challenging them to become better student athletes, and build their self confidence in the game of Baseball/Softball.

Currently, we are looking for Coaches for our Warriors 9U, 10U, and 14U Baseball Teams and our Girls 12U Softball team. Our teams will be competing this Fall and beyond in Tournaments, League Play in the Tri-State area. Fall season runs from Late August through early November, with practices 2 times a week and 1 - 2 games a week. During tournaments, teams can compete in 3 - 5 games over the course of the weekend, beginning Friday evening through Sunday evening. In addition, our players participate in Post-Season and Pre-Season workouts beginning in December through March.. We are looking for a reliable, responsible, enthusiastic, coach, with prior experience coaching Middle School/High School or Collegiate baseball, and has a strong knowledge of Baseball Rules, as well as helping develop players skills and understanding of the game.

The right candidate will be abreast with the knowledge and skills to help players prepare for High School Baseball, while giving 100% on and off the field. We pride ourselves in developing the overall Student Athlete. If you believe that participation in sports plays an integral role in the development of a child's character, confidence, and social skills this could be an excellent opportunity for you.

This is the perfect opportunity for a current or former Collegiate/Professional player or coach, or someone with previous experience playing/coaching travel Baseball.

*REQUIREMENTS*:

* Experience working with young children
* Experience Coaching and/or playing baseball at High School or Collegiate Level
* Reliable transportation to and from location
* Current clean background check or ability to obtain one (Child Abuse, Criminal Check, FBI Fingerprints)
* First Aid/AED/CPR Training

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
