Job Summary

 Madison Law is a growing law firm with a diverse practice. We are seeking multiple associate attorneys with civil litigation experience to join our firm. We offer a collaborative environment that supports professional growth and development. 

 

The position is ideal for a candidate seeking to gain hands-on experience with civil litigation, and includes managing cases from inception to conclusion, including motion work, routine court appearances, as well as an opportunity to handle depositions and trial work, depending on experience and comfort.

 

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, highly organized, an effective communicator, and able to work both independently and collaboratively. A strong work ethic and commitment to excellence in litigation and client advocacy are essential.

 

Responsibilities

●       Draft pleadings, briefs, motions, and other legal memoranda.

●       Conduct legal research and case analysis.

●       Represent clients in legal proceedings including hearings, and, depending on experience, depositions, mediations, and trials.

●       Develop strategies and collaborate with senior attorneys on case management.

●       Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients effectively.

●       Maintain detailed and accurate client records, case files, and client communications.

 

Qualifications

●       Licensed in California and in good standing with the State Bar.

●       Preferred civil litigation experience.

●       Advanced verbal and written communication abilities.

●       Highly organized, responsible, and self-motivated.

●       Strong legal writing, research, and problem-solving skills.

●       Ability to strategically collaborate with colleagues to best serve clients.
