About the Role
The Company is in search of an Assistant General Counsel for Regulatory Affairs to join their team. The successful candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional legal services and supporting the company's growth and development. Key responsibilities include offering analysis and counsel on complex federal and state healthcare laws, managing corporate licensing, and guiding the company through legislative and regulatory changes. The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant laws and ethical business practices, as well as overseeing the effectiveness and efficiency of the legal team in meeting organizational needs. Applicants must have a Juris Doctorate, LLM, or equivalent degree from an ABA-accredited law school, with a preference for an additional business or pharmacy degree. A minimum of 6 years' of legal experience is required, along with a license to practice law in at least one US state. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal research, analysis, and the ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with colleagues. Responsibilities also include managing processes related to licensing and regulatory requirements, informing the development of new initiatives from a legal perspective, and updating policies and procedures to meet the company's legal needs.
