About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant General Counsel with a focus on Intellectual Property. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and safeguarding the company's IP strategy. This includes providing legal expertise and guidance that directly impacts the strength and value of the company's intellectual assets. The role is integral to the New Product Introduction IP team and is particularly focused on supporting the Process Technology business. The Assistant General Counsel will be responsible for ensuring the company's innovations are protected, maintaining a robust IP portfolio, and contributing to business growth through strategic IP management. Applicants for the Assistant General Counsel - Intellectual Property position at the company should have a strong background in IP law and a proven track record in this area. The role requires the ability to influence and drive the company's IP strategy, as well as to work closely with cross-functional teams to support the business. A deep understanding of the global IP landscape and experience in managing complex IP issues is essential. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, capable of balancing legal considerations with business objectives, and will be instrumental in helping the company maintain its competitive edge in the market. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to the bar in at least one jurisdiction are required.
