About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Go-to-Market Strategy and Business Development to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the company's mission to revolutionize the way professionals learn about different industries. This role is pivotal in the company's growth, with a focus on building new business verticals from the ground up. The VP will be responsible for owning the go-to-market strategy, identifying and evaluating new markets, and leading the full sales cycle to validate and penetrate these verticals. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in management consulting, at least 2-3 years of B2B sales experience, and a proven track record of quota attainment and self-sourced pipeline. Key responsibilities for the role include analyzing new market opportunities, maintaining a sales playbook, and synthesizing market feedback to guide product development. The VP will also be expected to have a deep understanding of customer problems, engage with VP+ level stakeholders, and manage complex enterprise sales dynamics. The company values individuals with a get-stuff-done attitude, a growth mindset, and strong entrepreneurial drive. While not mandatory, experience in a startup or high-growth environment, as well as a background in learning, teaching, or education, are considered advantageous. The role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, grow alongside the company, and work with a global team in a remote, yet highly collaborative, work environment.
