Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder to join our team in Chickasha, OK, 73018. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
  • Perform welding operations using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain and operate welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior welders as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or construction setting.
  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques and safety practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) is preferred but not required.
