About the Role

The Company is in search of a VP, SEC Reporting to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key player in the oversight of all SEC reporting requirements and financial disclosures, including the preparation and review of various forms such as 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K. This role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing financial reporting controls, and the VP will work closely with senior leadership, legal, investor relations, tax, FP&A, and other cross-functional stakeholders. Responsibilities also include partnering with the external big 4 audit team, managing the company's consolidation process, and ensuring a strong Sarbanes-Oxley compliance framework. Applicants for the VP, SEC Reporting position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA or MBA being preferred. A minimum of 5 years' experience in SEC reporting, financial reporting, or a related field is required, along with a strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. The role demands a proven ability to work with cross-functional teams, strong communication skills, and a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive approach to project management. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills, is necessary, and experience with big 4 audit firms is a plus. The ideal candidate will be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
