Food Runner

About this position

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and team-oriented Food Runner to join our team.

The Food Runner plays an important role in delivering food promptly and professionally to our guests in the bar while supporting the overall service team. We are looking for someone who understands that great hospitality is a team effort and takes pride in making sure every guest feels well taken care of.

• Deliver food from the kitchen to guests in the bar quickly, accurately, and professionally.
• Ensure food is presented properly and reaches the guest at the appropriate temperature.
• Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and management.
• Support the service team wherever needed to ensure a smooth guest experience.
• Maintain awareness of the bar and guest needs throughout the shift.
• Help keep service areas clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Assist with additional duties as needed to support the team.
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Treat every guest with genuine hospitality and make their experience a priority.

The most important quality we are looking for is team mentality.

We want someone who understands that there is no "that's not my job" attitude when it comes to taking care of guests and supporting your teammates. You should be willing to jump in, help wherever needed, and contribute to the success of the entire team.

The ideal candidate:

• Has previous food running, restaurant, or hospitality experience.
• Understands the importance of excellent customer service.
• Is dependable, punctual, and able to work consistently.
• Works well under pressure in a busy environment.
• Communicates clearly and works well with others.
• Has a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Takes pride in their work and appearance.
• Is motivated to learn, improve, and excel.
• Understands that taking care of the guest is everyone's responsibility.

• Wednesday through Sunday
• 8-hour shifts
• Approximately 40 hours per week, with opportunities for 40+ hours based on business needs

• $18/hour during training
• $20–$22/hour after training, based on experience and performance
