Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Locksmith Technician to join our team. This role involves providing residential, commercial, and automotive locksmith services in the field. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently in a mobile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to service calls for lockouts, rekeying, lock installation, and repairs
- Cut and program automotive keys and key fobs (various makes and models)
- Diagnose and repair ignition issues and vehicle lock systems
- Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial locking systems
- Perform safe openings, installations, and basic safe servicing (if experienced)
- Provide accurate on-site assessments and explain services to customers
- Collect payments and ensure proper job documentation
- Maintain inventory and tools within assigned company vehicle
- Follow company procedures for job completion, billing, and communication
- Deliver excellent customer service in both emergency and scheduled jobs
Requirements
- Prior locksmith experience preferred (automotive experience is a strong plus)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical skills
- Comfortable using mobile apps for dispatching, invoicing, and communication
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Professional appearance and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with key programming and diagnostic tools
- Familiarity with a wide range of lock brands and systems
- Safe work experience (opening, installation, repair)
- Previous experience in a mobile service role
Work Environment
- Primarily field-based using a company-provided vehicle
- Tending to clients at our physical locations
- Work may be performed in residential, commercial, and roadside environments

Schedule
- Full-time position.
