Position Details

- Pay Range: $50.50–$68.18/hour advertised; starting pay is based on applicable experience, with a maximum new-hire starting rate of $52.45/hour.
- Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans and general diagnostic radiographic examinations.
- Operate CT scanners and X-ray equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare and administer contrast media, including intravenous contrast injections.
- Prepare patients, examination rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications.
- Ensure imaging quality, radiation safety, and compliance with applicable standards and procedures.
- Deliver excellent patient care while maintaining professional and ethical standards.
- Apply knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, patient positioning, radiation physics, and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with the radiology team to support high-quality diagnostic imaging services.
Education & Experience
- Two years of diagnostic X-ray experience preferred.
- One year of CT experience preferred.

Required Qualifications
- Current California Radiologic Technology (CRT) certificate issued by the California Department of Public Health.
- Approved CPR certification.
- ARRT certification and California fluoroscopy permit to be obtained within six months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current ARRT certification.
- Radiographic contrast media and venipuncture certification.
- California fluoroscopy permit.
- Advanced certification in CT.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, cross-sectional anatomy, and radiographic positioning.
- Understanding of radiation protection, radiation physics, radiobiology, and quality assurance.
- Excellent communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to quality patient care.
