Violet Bistro, Cooking School & Shop is an upscale neighborhood French bistro located in Westwood, Los Angeles. We pride ourselves on providing warm, attentive hospitality, thoughtfully crafted cocktails, and a welcoming dining experience. We've cultivated a close-knit, collaborative team and are seeking an experienced, motivated bartender/server who shares our commitment to hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail.Key responsibilities:
- Provide warm, attentive, and knowledgable service to all guests.
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, and beer, and other beverages with consistency and precision, following house recipes and standards.
- Take orders using Toast handheld POS
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout service
- Maintaining food, wine and menu knowledge is a must
- Must have some barista experience
- Must have flexible availability
Qualifications for Bartender/Server:
- 2 years of experience in a bar or similar environment
- Must be 21 years of age
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time, frequently bend, reach, and climb stairs
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain composed during high-volume service
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to support colleagues
