About this position

Job Details

We’re a lounge with a cocktail focused program and a menu of global tapas. The lights are low and nobody is rushing anyone out the door — people come here to settle in for two hours, not to turn a table.

That’s exactly why the service has to be sharp. A relaxed room only feels effortless when someone on the floor is paying very close attention.

THE JOB

Good lounge service is quiet and constant. You read a table in the first thirty seconds — date night, catching up, celebrating, hiding from their day — and you serve them accordingly. You know when to talk and when to disappear. Nobody sits holding an empty glass scanning the room for you.

You’ll know the menu well enough to have an opinion. When a guest says “something like a Manhattan, but not quite,” you have three answers ready and a reason for each. That’s the whole skill. Guests spend more and come back more often when someone guides them well — that’s not a sales pitch, it’s just good hospitality, and we’ll train you on the menu until you can do it.

YOU’RE A FIT IF

  • You have (1–2)+ years serving in a bar, lounge, or full-service restaurant
  • You’re genuinely warm with strangers — not performing friendliness, just good with people
  • You can carry a section of (5–7) tables without losing the thread on any of them
  • You’re curious about what you’re selling and willing to learn the (cocktail / wine) list properly
  • You stay composed when the room fills up all at once
  • You’re reliable. You show up on time, every scheduled shift.

WHAT YOU GET

  • Shift meal and 40% staff discount
  • Paid training on the full (cocktail and wine) program — tastings, not just a printed sheet
  • Closed Mondays & Tuesday with options to work private events those days
  • A floor team that isn’t at each other’s throats. We take service seriously and ourselves less so
