Summary:
American Industrial Services' Electrical Operations Group is immediately hiring for a Sr Commercial Electrician in and around Greensboro, NC!

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work under the direction of Lead Electrician.
- Be a key individual contributor on electrical installation projects
- Detailed Conduit Bending and wiring of panels, breakers, splice boxes, and various equipment.
- Use electric meters to check voltage, amperage and continuity of circuits.
- Ability to read basic electrical blueprints and symbols.
- Assist Lead Electrician in training apprentices.
Qualification Requirements:
- 4 or more years’ experience as an electrician in an industrial/commercial setting
- Skilled conduit bending
- Operate Scissor lift, boom lift, fork lift
- Knowledge of common electrical materials used in an industrial setting
- Ability to work with moderate supervision
- Understanding of basic wire size capacity, pipe, and box fill
- Experience with motor wiring and controls is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and electric symbols
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Desire to grow into the role of a Lead Electrician
- Clean License and ability to pass drug screening
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions working in a team environment
- Professional presentation and good communication skills; Bi-lingual is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work at heights 15-40ft
- Ability to lift/pull at least 50lbs
