About this position

Pay: $250,000.00 - $285,000.00 per year

Location:

Note:

Must have an active California Bar license, 10+ years of experience as an associate-level attorney, and 5+ years of directly relevant real estate or business litigation experience. Strong candidates will have substantial experience independently managing complex litigation matters through trial.

Job Description

  • Lead and manage complex real estate and business litigation matters from inception through trial and appeal.
  • Develop and execute effective litigation and trial strategies.
  • Conduct sophisticated legal research and analysis involving real estate and business disputes.
  • Draft and argue motions, pleadings, briefs, and appellate filings.
  • Take and defend depositions and prepare matters for trial.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement discussions.
  • Advise clients on litigation risk, dispute resolution, and related real estate and business issues.
  • Collaborate with clients and legal professionals to develop practical, results-oriented solutions.
  • Stay current on developments in California real estate, business, and litigation law.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active California Bar license in good standing.
  • 10+ years of experience as an associate-level attorney.
  • 5+ years of real estate litigation or business litigation experience.
  • Strong experience managing complex cases and litigation strategy.
  • Trial, deposition, motion practice, and dispute-resolution experience.
  • Excellent legal writing, oral advocacy, analytical, negotiation, and client-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative legal team.
