About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director for its Explore Hub, a national initiative dedicated to transforming the way young people, particularly those in early adolescence, engage in self-discovery and career exploration. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and leading the Hub's strategic direction, developing a portfolio of innovative initiatives, and fostering partnerships to drive lasting systems change in middle school career exploration. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of early adolescent development, a proven track record in managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives, and a commitment to educational equity. The Managing Director will work closely with the company's leadership and external stakeholders to shape the Hub's thought leadership, influence national conversations, and ensure that the initiatives are effectively delivered and aligned with the needs of young people. Candidates for the Managing Director position should have at least 12 years' of leadership experience in relevant fields such as youth development, education, program design, or philanthropy. The role demands strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a talent for building and leading high-performing teams. A graduate degree in a related field is preferred, along with a background in partnership development and a network of relationships in the youth development and education sectors. The ideal candidate will be a change agent with an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of influencing without authority, and dedicated to fostering an inclusive and equitable environment for all students.
