About the Role

The Company is seeking a Dean for its College of Education, a pivotal role in shaping the future of educator preparation, research, community engagement, and student success. The successful candidate will be the Chief Academic and Administrative Officer of the College, providing strategic leadership for all academic, administrative, financial, and external affairs. This includes championing faculty excellence, supporting innovative teaching and scholarship, strengthening enrollment and student success, and expanding community and school district partnerships. The Dean will also be responsible for stewarding accreditation and educator preparation programs, and cultivating external resources to advance the College's mission and long-term sustainability. Applicants for the Dean position at the College of Education should be accomplished academic leaders with a distinguished record of scholarship, teaching, and service. The role requires significant leadership experience in higher education, a commitment to shared governance, faculty development, student success, and academic excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strategic vision to position the College as a leader in innovative educator preparation, impactful research, and meaningful community engagement. Experience in leading accreditation and assessment initiatives, securing external funding, and building collaborative partnerships is essential. The Dean will be expected to align with the College's mission of preparing culturally responsive professionals and to contribute to the institution's goals of educational access, social mobility, and public service.
