About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Construction to play a key role in the strategic management of multi-family residential construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of activities, including site selection, pre-development project management, and construction project management. This role involves working closely with the development team, general contractors, and various stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of new developments and the renovation of existing properties. The Vice President of Construction will also be involved in long-term planning to achieve growth and financial profitability, as well as ensuring compliance with specifications, contract terms, and obtaining necessary government inspections and certificates of occupancy. Applicants for the Vice President of Construction position at the company should have an undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as finance, real estate development, architecture, or civil engineering, with an MBA being a plus. A minimum of 10 years' related experience is required. The role demands strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a team environment with various stakeholders. The candidate must be a hands-on leader, capable of critical thinking, and focused on project completion. Proficiency in computer skills, including Excel, Word, scheduling software, and Procore, is essential.
