About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to provide strategic and hands-on leadership for its international restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will be a charismatic and visible leader, with a strong background in licensing, management agreements, and franchise relationships within an upscale restaurant environment. The COO will be responsible for leading and strengthening the operations team, improving restaurant-level performance and profitability, and ensuring the alignment of various departments to translate the company's vision into clear operational priorities. Candidates for the COO position should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in managing complex, geographically dispersed restaurant portfolios. Experience with multiple concepts and brands, as well as a background in international operations, is essential. The successful candidate will be adept at new restaurant openings, growing and scaling companies, and executing restaurant turnarounds. A key aspect of the role is the ability to standardize training materials across all brands and to be adaptable across different cultures, personalities, markets, and business models. The COO will be expected to be a low-ego leader, who builds strong teams and is comfortable with direct, constructive challenges.
