About the Role

The Company is in search of a Data Compliance Associate/Vice President to join its global team. The successful candidate will be part of the Compliance group, which is dedicated to designing, implementing, monitoring, and testing the firm's control environment to ensure responsible fiduciary practices. This role involves creating and maintaining policies and procedures related to data and AI use, conducting legal and compliance reviews of data providers and AI tools, and monitoring regulatory developments to provide guidance to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a J.D. degree, 3-5 years of legal/compliance experience in the financial services industry, and a background in data licensing, AI/data governance, and securities regulation. Key responsibilities for the Data Compliance Associate/Vice President include interfacing with data, research, and engineering teams, supporting governance and control processes, and ensuring the firm complies with all relevant regulatory and industry rules. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to collaborate with various departments, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to work. The candidate should be intelligent, energetic, and goal-oriented, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with limited supervision. A self-starter with a strong sense of judgment and the ability to work in a highly intellectual, collaborative environment is essential.
