About the Role
The Company is seeking a Director of Data Center Operational Excellence to lead the definition, implementation, and continuous improvement of a global operating model that ensures the safe, reliable, efficient, and scalable operation of its data center portfolio. This strategic role is pivotal in establishing and maintaining global operations governance, standards, processes, and systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence initiatives, leading continuous improvement efforts, and ensuring that operational processes align with business growth, customer commitments, and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities also include global operations strategy, operations process ownership, operational systems and data strategy, incident, risk, and readiness management, and vendor and partner management. Applicants for the Director of Data Center Operational Excellence position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 12 years of experience in data center operations or related environments, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role. The role requires a proven track record in scaling operational processes, operational governance, process design, and change management. The ideal candidate will have experience in mission-critical operations, organizational scaling, and a strong background in operational excellence methodologies. Leadership and organizational development skills are essential, as is the ability to influence and partner with executive leadership.
