Seeking a detail-oriented, skilled woodworker to join our production team. In this role, you will assemble raw lumber into high-quality finished products utilizing a mix of hand tools and heavy machinery.
****Candidates with prior woodworking experience highly preferred.****
Qualifications and Experience
- Proficient with setup and operation of both manual hand tools and machinery such as table saws, routers, planers, sanders and end trimmers.
- High attention to detail, inspection of raw lumber for defects and grain matching in finished product
- Repair minor wood imperfections using wood putty, fillers, and adhesives. Sand surfaces seamlessly utilizing orbital palm sanders and belt sanders.
- Strong basic mathematics skills for reading tape measures and calculating dimensions.
- Ability to stand for 8 hours daily and lift materials weighing up to 40 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or apprenticeship a plus; experience with stain application and finishing equipment operation a plus.
- Reliable transportation, and must be able to work Monday-Friday, 6 am - 3 pm (one hour unpaid lunch). Occasional overtime depending on work load.
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
