About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Property Management to oversee the daily operations of assigned communities, ensuring they are in line with business plans and state laws. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing the value of the properties, leading and managing staff, and maintaining a high level of customer service. This role involves working closely with the SVP/VP to develop and execute budgets, forecasts, and marketing plans, as well as ensuring that all financial and operational activities are in compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The AVP will also be involved in resident relations, maintenance, and marketing, and must be prepared for business travel, including frequent site visits. Applicants must have a minimum of 8 years' experience in multifamily real estate, with a recent background in on-site property management or regional management. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in team management, financial acumen, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. A college degree is required, or a demonstrated progression in property management to a regional or divisional level. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative work style, strong work ethic, and a commitment to the values of the company, including diversity, equity, and inclusion. Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new technology is essential.
